Marmaris is a port city and a tourist destination on the Mediterranean coast, located in the province of Muğla in southwest Turkey. Until recently it was a fishing village and still retains its charm as well as the unique natural beauty of its location. It is also a major sailing location and has two main marinas. In Marmaris you can find sun, beaches and spectacular mountains and pine forests. Do not miss the beautiful views of the restored castle of Suleyman the Magnificent, and the charming cobbled historic centre.
The waterfront area is lined with bars and restaurants. Far from the hectic bustle of the city are the beaches of the Datca peninsula, a highly recommended stop for those travelling by charter yacht.
Turunç is a picturesque village tucked away in a beautiful bay on the south coast of
Marmaris. This town has hosted tourists over the years, but somehow still manages to retain
the relaxed atmosphere of the lovely fishing village it once was. It is very popular with
boaters, and you will see plenty of sailboats anchored there in the evening as well as
restaurants full of visitors.

Located on the eastern borders of Greece, just in sight of the Turkish coast, Rhodes is a jewel of the famous Dodecanese islands. It has the mild climate typical of the Mediterranean as well as lush vegetation. Depending on the season, you can admire wild mountain roses, conifers, eucalyptus and olives in abundance, and be enveloped by the fragrances of thyme, oregano, broom, and oleander.
In the northern part of the island, a few metres from the Turkish coast, you can find the medieval city of Rhodes, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It’s a place you simply must visit. Rhodes is one of the oldest medieval cities in Europe that is still inhabited, and the local architecture is a true testament to the important cultural influence of the city from very ancient times up to the Middle Ages. Do not miss a walk along the old port and the Gate of the Naval Station, the beautiful gate of the stone walls which surround the historic centre. From here you can reach the city’s old streets and all kinds of shops. The walls of the citadel, 12 metres thick, are fortified with three towers that were built around the central port in a semicircle. The walls contain the ancient city’s narrow, cobblestone streets, lined with stone houses and palaces, arches, medieval towers, minarets, mosques, Byzantine buildings, and ancient temples. The Street of the Knights of Rhodes, the Grand Master’s Palace, the Hospital of the Knights of Rhodes, and the Mosque of Suleyman are some examples of its architecture.
At night the city comes alive with bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. The colourful lighting of the paved pedestrian streets gives them a unique charm, while live music and dancing offer visitors a cosmopolitan flavour until the early hours of the morning. It has been said that Rhodes has more bars and nightclubs per capita than New York, Paris, or Berlin. Find clubs like Dome, Senso, Absolut, or the Clo-Sky Boulevard.
