Like most of the turkish coast, Göcek enjoys a very hot, dry summer, with little to no rain and average daily temperatures from 27ºC to 29ºC from June until september. Temperatures have been known to clime to 40ºC and beyond at time in July and August though so a sea temperature of around 25ºC would provide light relief on a yacht charter in Göcek. May and October enjoy average daily temperatures of 22ºC with peaks of around 30ºC and although their are more rain showers in these months they are few and far between. This could therefore be a great option to avoid both the summer masses and the sweltering heat with a yacht charter holiday in Göcek, especially considering that October still gets 9 hours of sunlight a day.

A few different modes of transport will help you get the most relaxing start to your yacht charter in Gocek.

By plane: The closest airport to Göcek is the Dalaman Airport at the nearby city of Fethiye, connected to Göcek by frequent shuttle buses.


By bus: Göcek is connected to many other cities, including Marmaris, Fethiye, Bodrum, and Izmir, with a regular bus service.


By car: To reach Göcek by car, the best way is to access the D-400 which connects Göcek to
Bodrum.
