Covering Spain's beautiful Costa Blanca, the region of Levante enjoys a fantastic mediterranean climate. The temperatures vary greatly throughout the year with lows of 2ºC in winter but reaching 32ºC during the summer. Yacht charter holidays in Levante can be enjoyed as early as April and as late as October. Temperatures vary between the different available destinations we have within the region.

By Plane:
To get to the region of Levante on the coast of Spain, there are different airports near to each of the main cities along the Levantine coast.
1) Valencia Airport: you will find it just 8 km from the city and it offers bus route 150 (40 minutes to the centre, two metro lines (25 minutes to the centre) and taxis to get to the city and to take yourself further along the coast. Valencia airport is well connected and operates with domestic, international and low cost airlines making for easy access.
2) Alicante Airport: it is situated in the Elche area, 9 km to the south west of Alicante city centre. There are urban and intercity buses that both offer services to take you to the city centre (30 minutes). There is also a train service (line C-6) that unites the city of Alicante with other regions of the Costa Blanca such as: Dénia, El Campello, La Vila Joiosa, Benidorm, L’Alfàs Del Pi, Altea, Calpe, Benissa, Gata and Teulada.

By Bus:

The two main spanish bus companies are, ALSA and AVANZA, and both offer services to various cities such as: Valencia, Alicante, Castellón as well as other towns and regions of the Levante coast.
1) Valencia Station: this is the third most important bus station in the country and can be found at 13, Avenida Menéndez Pidal. If you want to get to the coastal regions from Valencia there are many affordable options for travelling the whole coast. (8-40€)
2) Alicante Station: situated in the Heliodoro Madrona neighbourhood, Alicante’s new bus station contains a 24 hour taxi rank, various bus services and train line C-6 to the airport.
3) Castellón Station: found on Avenida Pintor Oliet and close to Ribalta park (the city’s most central park). The operating hours of the station are 04:50-00:45 hours from monday to friday, saturdays it shuts at 23:50 and the sunday timetable is 06:20-00:45.
4) Torrevieja Station: the bus station in this coastal region is found very near to the promenade at 40, Calle del Mar. The bus timetables for urban and intercity buses cover Torrevieja, Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena on a daily basis.

By Train:

There are various train companies as well as AVE (the high speed line) to travel across Spain quickly and affordably. To enjoy your yacht charter holiday in the Levante region you can arrive by train in the following cities:
1) Valencia: you will find two train stations here. The first is Joaquín Sorolla and is the AVE station. Found at 171, Calle San Vicente Martir, it offers various lines for travelling to Madrid, Barcelona, Albacete and Castellón. The second station is Valencia Nord, which offers long distance, medium distance and commuter trains.
2) Alicante: this train station offers commuter trains and national routes however no AVE service. It can be found at 1, Avenida de Salamanca and the opening hours are: 05:30-23:45. From here you can travel to the airport (7 km) or to the port (2 km) by bus or taxi.

By Car:

For getting to Levante by car, the best way is to drive to Valencia and join the minor coastal roads towards the south (Alicante, Torrevieja, Denia and Altea). If you are travelling from Madrid, you can take the A-3 motorway from the east and arrive in Valencia in 4 hours. If you go from Barcelona you can take the A-7 motorway, and the same goes for if you travel from Alicante, Murcia or Almeria.
To get to Levante from the north of Spain, you should go via Zaragoza and take the A-23 motorway. If you are coming from Albacete or the middle of Spain, then the A-35 will take you to Valencia directly.
