  • Primosten beach:
  • 27 km away from Sibenik, a visit to this paradisiac beach is almost mandatory. It is characterized for its clear waters, and its stone nature, surrounded by a dense forest.

Sibenik has a large variety of typical dishes, from the famous Misina cheese to the Babic red wine. The delicious ham from Drnis, or the large variety of fresh fish, in addition to typical dishes such as:

By plane

The most important airports are located in the cities of Zadar (86 km away), Split (87 km away), Zagreb (337 km away), Rijeka (347 km away), Pula (449 km away) and Dubrovnik (286 km away). There are flights to these airports from many European cities, but none from North America.

By bus

There are several bus companies such as Eurolines that have routs into Croatia and local bus companies such as Bus Croatia that have routs between Sibenik and the main Croatian cities.


The train is not used very often, due to its slow speed and its low frequency, however the train does connect the cities of Split and Zagreb to Sibenik.

By boat

There are a number of ferry companies that transport passengers from Italy into Croatia. Some of them are:

By car
