By plane:
Vigo Airport, also known as Peinador, is located just 10 km from the city. There are regular buses running from the airport to the city center at the very reasonable price of around €1.20.

By bus:
If you want to combine a city trip with your yacht charter in Vigo, the regular bus service that runs between Vigo and many other Spanish cities is provided by several companies: Alsa, Monbus, Dainco, and AutoRes. There are also international buses that arrive in Vigo from Portugal, France, Germany, and Switzerland operated by Socitransa, Autna, and Gavisa.

By train:
Train connections are available to several Spanish cities. The trains to Santiago de Compostela and Pontevedra run several times a day, however the route to Madrid is only twice daily, and to Bilbao just once a day. There is also a direct train to Porto (Portugal) which runs twice daily.

By boat:
It is possible to get to and from Vigo from the neighbouring villages of Cangas and Moaña by local ferry.

By car:
Vigo is easily accessible by car from Madrid or central Spain on the Northwest Motorway A-52. The Atlantic Motorway AP-9 connects Vigo to other Galician cities such as Pontevedra, Santiago, and A Coruña. Vigo can also be reached from northern Portugal using the Rias Baixas motorway, known as the A-3 in Portugal and the AP-9 in Spain.
